Agardanda Shipyard & Terminal Agardanda, Maharashtra Agardanda Port has entered into an agreement with the Maharashtra Maritime Board, State Government of Maharashtra, to run a 50-year development and operations concession at the port near Mumbai. Agardanda Terminal is a container terminal acquired by Adani Group which was shipyard previously.
Bhavnagar CNG Terminal Gujarat On 28 September 2022 the foundation stone was laid for CNG terminal, the development of CNG Terminal and other terminals occurred at the north-side of existing Bhavnagar Port in December 2019 by the consortium led by Foresight Group, a consortium of London-based Foresight Group, Mumbai-based Padmanabh Mafatlal Group and Rotterdam-based Boskalis signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Gujarat Maritime Board (GMB) for development of the CNG terminal. Bhavnagar Port Infrastructure Pvt Ltd, a special purpose vehicle formed by the consortium to operate the port.
Chhara LNG Terminal Gujarat HPCL Shapoorji Energy Private Limited (HSEPL), the entity which is currently building a 5 MMTPA LNG terminal in Chhara, Gujarat. HSEPL is constructing a 5 MMTPA Liquified Natural Gas (LNG) Terminal at Chhara, Gujarat, at a project cost of about Rs 4,300 crore which is likely to be completed by the end of calendar year 2022. The terminal will have all facilities for receipt of LNG through ocean going tankers, marine unloading, storage, LNG Road Tanker loading, regasification, and supply of regasified LNG to the gas grid.

Karanja Port Navi Mumbai, Maharashtra The port is being developed over 200 acres of land with a sea frontage of 1,000 metres at Karanja Creek. The port is in the heart of the commercial capital of India, and acts as the gateway to eight landlocked states in the country. The facility has access to State and National highways and is near to India's largest and most congested container port, the Jawaharlal Nehru Port (JNPT).
JSW Keni Port Karnataka On 17th November 2023, Construction started at the port in Keni, near Ankola, would be designed to handle 30 million tonnes of cargo per annum.

Kakinada Gateway Port Andhra Pradesh Under construction, Kakinada Gateway Port (KGPL), an arm of Kakinada SEZ, has entered into concession agreement with the Andhra Pradesh government for development of a greenfield commercial port at Kona village in East Godavari district. Kakinada SEZ (KSEZ) is promoted by GMR Infrastructure limited.

National Waterways

National Waterway 4 Waterway Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu and Puducherry Under Construction National Waterway 4 (NW-4) is a 1,095 kilometres (680 mi) long waterway in India. It has been declared as an Indian National Waterway and is currently under development. It connects the Indian states of Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, and the union territory of Puducherry. The NW-4 runs along the Coromandal Coast through Kakinada, Eluru, Commanur, Buckingham Canals and also through part of Krishna and Godavari rivers in South India. It was declared a National Waterway on 24 November 2008 under the Provisions of National Waterways Bill, 2006.
National Waterway 1 Waterway Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, West Bengal Under Construction Ganga-Bhagirathi-Hooghly River system is located in India and runs from Prayagraj in Uttar Pradesh to Haldia in West Bengal via Patna and Bhagalpur in Bihar across the Ganges River. It is 1,620 km (1,010 mi) long, making it the longest waterway in India.

Kochi Water Metro Kochi Completed Kochi Water Metro is an integrated ferry transport project in Greater Kochi region proposed by Kochi Metro Rail Limited. It serves as a feeder service to suburbs along with rivers where transport accesbility is limited. The project obtained the final environment clearance in Oct 2019, and its first phase completed in 2021 . On 15 February 2021 Kerala CM Pinarayi Vijayan inaugurated its first route between Vytilla and InfoPark constructed under Phase I of the project. The inauguration was a pre-election cosmetic inauguration as services did not begin until March 2022. The new announced date to start services was moved to July 2022.
